Music Locked Out
Koncertfoto fra Alpas Ave koncert til UHØRT festival i september 2020 projekteret op på Det Kongelige Teater. November 2020.
In the middle of a Corona era, we are in a special situation in a so to speak "Music Locked Out" situation. I have made this art project to focus on the crisis that the musicians are in. For several years I have photographed both new upcoming and more established musicians for concerts. Together with the musicians, I now feel the dramatic effect of the closure of concerts.
That is the background of my project. Musicians and audiences are barred from meeting. The buildings are empty - both the buildings that provide space for music, and the buildings that will accommodate our social life. In the project, I have let the musicians and the buildings meet again - the buildings have come to life, but now on the outside. The project consists of images taken using a projector. I have been out projecting my concert photos onto buildings, and have photographed the new composite image that emerges.
